I think that what you posted was actually very reasonable.
But, what about this? what if you added a little information?
I am not saying your content is not solid., however what if you added a title to possibly get a
person's attention? I mean Bulgaria claims to find Europe's oldest town is kinda plain. You
could peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they write news titles to grab
people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture
or two to grab people interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it would make your blog a little bit more interesting.
